THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

THANKS to everyone who attended Saturday night's awards banquet.
We had a wonderful time - lots of laughs - great food - terrific friends.
For those of you unable to pick up your awards, please contact Tracy Smith at topforty@swbell.net with a good mailing address.
We can mail out ribbons, and we will make arrangements to get your other awards if that is the case.
Awards must be picked up by March 31 of this year.

Remember the new rule changes for this year!

The "Five (5) Times rule has been eliminated so all eligible GHHJA members can compete for year-end awards; even if the division made or the eligible member competed less than five times during the show year.

Also in 2007 - two new recognized divisions:
"Walk-Trot" and "Green As Grass"

Have you seen a need for a rule change?
Have you attended shows and think something might run better/more smoothly with a change to a current rule?
Please forward any ideas on this to Felicia Carroll at fbreihan@sbcglobal.net

Remember that several rules have changed in the Jumpers.
Make sure if you are competing in a Jumper division that you check specifications for your classes!!

Don't Automatically Re-Register your Horses/Ponies
If they were registered last year with a Lifetime Registration, you don't need to! Only Annual Registrations will need to re-new their membership to accrue points for the current show year!

Coggins Reminder:
Make sure you have a current negative Coggins test when you come to the show.
Pony Measurement Cards
Pony riders, don't forget you need a measurement card to get points.
Entry Form Problems:
Entry forms with missing or incorrect information are becoming a problem. If you are doing entries please make sure to do it right - don't rely on the show secretary - your points may be at stake!
Please Help Us Update the GHHJA Horse Registration Database
Next time you're at a show, come by the secretary's office and see if you have horses registered under your name which are no longer here. GHHJA's registered horse database has lots of horses in it which are not currently competing, and we need your help to clean it up.
