POINTS & STANDINGS

As stated on the website, In order for points to count:
In hunter classes horse and owner must be a member, as well as trainer
In equitation classes riders must be a member, as well as trainer.
For year-end awards: In Hunter and Jumper classes, horses must show in at least 3 GHHJA Shows, in a GHHJA recognized division. For Equitation points to count, riders must show in at least 3 GHHJA shows in a GHHJA division.
If you feel that you should be listed, please send a points dispute e mail stating when rider, horse and trainer membership was renewed. Points will be added as soon as this information is verified.
Entrant Requirements

In order to be recognized for points in the hunter divisions, two (2) or more entrants must complete two (2) over fence classes including the first over fence class and two (2) or more entrants must complete the under saddle class.

In order for points to count in Walk/Trot, Pre- Beginner, Novice, and Long or Short Stirrup divisions, two (2) or more entrants must complete the over fences classes.

In order for points to be recognized in the jumper divisions, two (2) or more entrants must complete each of the three (3) jumper classes offered at each show. If an entry is eliminated for any reason, it is not considered to have completed the class.

If GHHJA recognized division has only two (2) entries, points will be awarded according to points tables in Articles 406-407. However, no Champion or Reserve points will be awarded. Show management may award champion and reserve ribbon at their discretion.
